Born and raised in Birmingham, England, the Author has been a Martial arts fan for as long as he can remember. 

From Ninja Turtles to Drunken Masters – if it had martial arts in it he would be watching it. Growing up in a city with people from almost every culture and religion imaginable greatly influenced his creativity. It also influenced how he saw the world and its history.

He has, for some time, wanted to give the Kung Fu world's underrated and misunderstood hopping vampire zombie – the Jiangshi, new life. The release of this story is proof that all those hours of watching Kung Fu movies were not wasted but just extensive studying and research... he simply did not know it.

The man tries frantically to break free from inside a dark and claustrophobic confinement, his heavy breathing and panting echoing inside the four walls. The closed latch on the outside begins to loosen.
