Paranormal
Investigator, Blogger, Historian, Photographer, Poet,
Cinematographer and Director, Allen also stars in television
show Haunting Australia which has aired in more than
twenty countries across four continents.
Eidolon Paranormal, of which he was founder and remains CEO,
has been investigating the paranormal for some years, teaching
the public how to debunk alleged paranormal activity for
themselves through meetings and media resources.
His
interest in the paranormal started at a young age, reading
countless books and watching a myriad of paranormal related
television shows. He developed an interest in history and
genealogy, bringing these interests together when he began to
look into the history of what is considered Australia’s most
haunted town – Kapunda – where his grandparents had lived
and his family were amongst the founding pioneers.
Prior to filming a television episode in a cemetery outside
Kapunda, Allen met his future wife, Karen, later proposing in
that very cemetery. Both now live and work in Kapunda. His
two current blogs have both been nominated for the 2013
Australian blog awards. Allen has appeared in local media in
respect of paranormal related topics and has written for two
international paranormal magazines, in addition to local teams
blogs and websites. He is also a published poet, a keen
videographer and editor, musician, writes his own music for
some his own productions and is a keen advocate for the
survival of endangered Australian native wildlife.
The
Haunts of Adelaide was added to the National Library of
Australia PANDORA archive after being read by members of
the State Library of South Australia, who decided it was
worthy of inclusion in this historical archive collection.
